#37c3 Chaos Communication Congress

“Who Killed The Internet? And a promising alternative for Public Communication and Social Media: the Fediverse!”, live podcast panel, hamburg, 27/30-12-2023

At #37c3, the 37th Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg, as always organised by the Chaos Communication Club, we organised a live podcast show to open up the discussion regarding our aimed research project. Our session called “Who Killed The Internet? And a promising alternative for Public Communication and Social Media: the Fediverse!” took place at 12-27, 21:00 in the Sendezentrum Stage. Guests and audience included digital activists, developers for ActivityPub, and the showmasters related to EU Voice and Video — our subject of research. We called the audience to tune in to learn about political, social, and technical strategies. We can all use these strategies to promote the adoption of the Fediverse by national, local, and regional governments, as well as public and civil society institutions. Or in short: How to win over the clowns!
